Advising Ethnic Student Organizations
Assist students with leadership and helps groups to make effective decisions in term of budget, programming and activities, appropriate parliamentary procedures, and organizational functioning.

Mentorship Program
This program is designed to support the academic, professional and cultural needs of VCU's freshmen and first year transfer students of color and increase retention and graduation rates. OMSA will match students with VCU staff, faculty and alumni with similar interests. Read more about our mentorship program.
OMSA Volunteer Team
This group consists of students who want to gain experience in program development/implementation, networking and marketing. Volunteers also learn how to work across cultural differences. Read more about our Volunteer Team.
Referral Services
OMSA offers students who need counseling, career and academic advising, and financial assistance direction to appropriate university services.
Women's Speaker Series
This is a collaborative effort between OMSA and other campus student organizations. The purpose of this program is to offer a quality speakers bureau where contemporary woman speakers are brought to the campus.
